She is looking to become a home retailer of a direct sales and marketing line of clothing for women.“It’s ironic, but this past Tuesday was my 10-year anniversary,” Fauske said Thursday, the day that her departure was announced.Her last day will be May 8.She said she was most proud of the improvements that the forest preserve has made since she started in 1997.

She also is proud of her work with the yearly anti-cancer fundraiser Relay For Life, work she plans to continue.“I’ll still be a big volunteer for Relay,” Fauske said.• • •It’s that time of year again, time to get ready for the aforementioned Relay For Life.The relay is an overnight event where teams of eight to 15 take turns walking through the night as part of the largest fundraising w...
