He called the office and reported the emergency to the secretary, who then called for a Code Blue - sending a team of trained staff members to the gym. In the meantime, Reiser attached the defibrillator pads to the boy's chest, and the device administered an electrical shock. Another staff member administered CPR until the paramedics arrived. The boy was taken to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, where he was sitting up and talking to his family Friday afternoon, Marx said. The boy's name was not released. MPS spokeswoman Roseann St. Aubin said 84 schools have a defibrillator. They have been used four times previously at different schools, but this is the first time one was used to save a child's life.
