Zoll releases earnings, debuts new product... Diluted earnings per share were 15 cents, compared with 11 cents, the company said. Meanwhile, Zoll unveiled a new model of the Zoll AutoPulse Non-Invasive Cardiac Support Pump, which, the company said, can document, store, and upload device and patient data. In a statement, Zoll chief executive Richard A. Packer said the company may benefit in the coming months from problems at a rival, Medtronic Inc. of Minnesota. "With the suspension of shipments by Medtronic's Physio Control division, our largest competitor, during the quarter, we are faced with a number of opportunities," he said.
